Weaving the Magick is a metaphor that speaks to the perspectives of joy and meaning that result from the work of actively learning to follow the guidance of my own intuition. It is the ability to see the symbols in everything, and by knowing their base meanings, bring deeper understanding of the larger circumstance.
Some people believe in coincidence, but I am a person that does not. The world is not completely random, and it is also not completely predetermined. There are threads of fate that are being woven, within and around our every choice and perspective, and our intuition tries to help and guide us through these choice points by communicating through messengers.
Numbers, colors, shapes, archetypes, musical frequencies and letters; all these things have esoteric correspondence. They all have many meanings beyond the obvious. For example, let’s discuss the number 3. 3 is a whole, single digit number that represents an amount of something greater than 2 but less than 4. Everyone in the world can agree on this information as it is universal. When I see a three however, I also, immediately, see the three fates weaving the great universal tapestry of everything, I see the collaboration inherent in the minor arcana 3 cards, and the nurturing, fertile, prosperous, and generous love of the 3rd major arcana card, the Empress. 3 also rings of the trinity; father, mother, child, or me, you, we, or black, white, gray. Essentially the three is the basis of all things, as every concept contains both a polarity and a creation, and everything else builds upon that.
This is the basic concept of what I call Weaving the Magick. It is that all things have correspondence or meaning, and when we choose to, we can learn to read the messages encoded in our everyday experience by following the patterns.
Perhaps you are consistently seeing a set of numbers coming up, or you keep finding white feathers, or a certain animal has been entering your dreams and waking time. All of these repeated occurrences are attempting to speak something to you, make you aware, or get your attention.
Unlike the voice of fear, intuition is not loud and will not try to dominate you. You have to willingly tap in, curiously investigate, and playfully ponder those nudges before you start to know it’s voice and speak it’s language.
If you’ve been hearing the call or feeling the nudge of something trying to get your attention, book a Tarot session with me on the services page and I will be happy to translate!
